Chet Nozick: Art its an expression of emotion in any kind of auditory or Visual representation.
Brock Hladik: This does require a long answer. Art is whatever you think art is. There are several things I do not think is art, but you may think that it is. I consider photography to be an art medium, but some of my professors did not consider it to be a medium. For who started art, it goes back at least 30,000 years or maybe even longer, if you think cave paintings are art. If not, then it goes back to the earliest known civilizations that made images of their gods.
