which is better, Philosophy or a sermon?

Wilbert Shellgren: if you understand it correctly a sermon is philosophy...it is the philosophy handed down from someone i consider much wiser than any of us....someone who knew what he was talking about......Show more

Samara Siewers: A sermon. Philosophy is more opinionated, a sermon needs solid backing in scripture.

Patricia Bolduc: Philosophy will help expand your mind, a sermon is designed to crush it.

Rebeca Mckin: It's like two sides of a coin. Which side delivers the truth? both.

Donella Vasta: Depends on the sermon. Depends on the philosophy.

Nadia Crauswell: neitherBoth are better

Troy Staton: Philosophy.

Peter Lapoint: Philosophy is asking to find an answer that fits the requirements of the question. Sermons teach an answer to a question already asked. The answer to your question is "what is the question for"?

Jackelyn Archut: I'm not much on either. I'm a much better visual learner, so I'm going with "Demonstr! ation". ;)

Miguel Koczela: I'll take the philosophy lesson, please.

Kaley Lappas: None of the above. If you read your Bible after you have accepted Jesus as your savior the Holy Spirit will guide your path and your life will reflect the love of Jesus so others may want to come to salvation. What is more beneficial than knowing you may be leading others to salvation.

Keven Drumgole: Philosophy stretches the mind to come to its own conclusions. With a sermon, you can't come to your own conclusion about it, because there is only one correct conclusion. Philosophy is best.

Rena Pepe: both are good. a sermon is useally what the pastor believes but so is philosophy. i have sat and listen to some great sermons before. and what would you call a sermon. something that teaches the Bible. cant go wrong with that. even if it is one sided. does not say you have to agree. just a lesson. i have to take science in high school and never agreed to that. ! that is why we have to read the Bible ourselves. but again yo! u can get a really great sermon and i will take sermon. all i need to know is in the Bible....Show more

Lewis Ranft: philosophy cause you can open your mind and learn several ways of viewing things, sermons tend to be one sided.

Marquetta Gimm: Philosophy is best because it requires group effort.

Kate Baune: philosophy

Becky Mosena: a sermon based in philosophy and facts mixed with personal experience and 20/20 hindsight

Peggy Sandefer: Learn Philosophy and wisdom, those are the path to salvation.
