Investing and where to start?

Rebeca Mckin: I believe you should start with one or two no-load mutual funds that invest in the common stock of high quality companies.No-load funds don't charge any commission when you buy or sell. You will get the benefit of the fund managers' expertise. They have an incentive to increase the value of your investment.Look into the Vanguard funds, and the T. Rowe Price funds. There are many more such funds.Invest $100 per month for ten months. Re-invest the dividends, so you get the benefit of compounding.Investing in the stock market this way is less risky than rolling the dice with stock in small companies, tech stocks, and penny stocks....Show more

Christiane Cattano: You can start from A to Z.

Blaine Connett: Investing is not only buying stocks. You can do so much more than that, especially with a such a small investment. You should look for something that you better understand or first try to understand the things you invest in better. You can start a website with those kind of money or buy a website and continue working on it - but this is if you know about that stuff. Think outside the box - are you good at cars - buy an old car, disassemble it and sell the parts. Start an ebay busiess. Start a dropshipping business. Can you invest time too ?Do not limit! yourself to just holding or speculating with stocks....Show m! ore
