Curt Broadhead: One, countries that trade together have an incentive not to shoot guns at one another. Two, it helps move business to the places that can best do it. I.E. Without international trade, countries could only consume what they produce domestically. There would be no bananas in Canada because Canada doesn't have the climate. Luckily, they trade with countries that do.
