For instance, dental, dermatology, vision?Or is it just for obgyn visits and labor? Meaning OB visits, Labs, Delivery.. You will have to apply for the baby after he or she is born so they can provide Immunization, Sick and Well Baby Care...answers 6:Pregnancy medicaid only covers things related to your pregnancy(dr. visits and labor)answers 7:They'll cover all of your OBGYN visits, any emergency visits, the hospital stay and labor, I'm not sure about circumcision if you're having a boy NY medicaid covers that but I don't know about Florida. They cover full dental work, vision but not contacts just glasses. I'm not sure about dermatology though I don't think they would cover it but it depends on why you go there. Medicaid does have another program where you ! also get total care... I don't know if you qualify you'd have ! to speak with your case representative but if you get that it's like an extension of medicaid that covers primary care physicians and specialists, which could be used to cover dermatology. You get the coverage for your whole pregnancy and 2 months after, but you can re apply and most women get approved again for another year. Your baby gets full coverage for a year and you get to chose their doctor, but the doctor has to accept medicaid obviously.EDIT: it also covers prescriptions, forgot to add that....answers 8:It is just for OB/GYN.answers 9:It's for pregnancy only. Which means any thing that pertains to pregnancy. Example: You go to the ER b/c you're having abdominal pain, they'll pay for it. You go to the ER b/c you're having dental pain. They won't pay for it, although the ER might file it.
