Lyman Gauld: Those home theater in a box are not very good and when one item fails you have to replace the whole system. Onkyo is one of the best home theater in a box. It could be that the speakers burned out due to too much power. It might not be cost effective in repairing than just buying a new system. The Onkyo HT-S3500 is selling for under $300 at Fry's Electronic. Hope this will help you out.
