Logan Bero: Have you looked at Southern? Dorms at all CT state schools (except UConn Storrs) are in short supply and generally suck anyway; students usually rent places in the surrounding community.
Majorie Chester: The best overall education is at UConn in Storrs.
Lon Pennington: Hi, I'm from CT so I know a little about these schools. I've been to all of them, except for Western- which is awful. Don't go there...Eastern-> on the border w/Mass, very bad area (gangs), nice dorms, brand new campus, average education programSouthern-> New Haven, nice/safe area, campus construction is booming, dorms are ok (not great), BEST for secondary educationCentral-> location is awful, dorms are gross, and overall-> badI know a lot of students go to Southern to become teachers-> it's hands down the best state school after Uconn....Show more
