Thomas Riner: You are better off getting 1 DVR and subscribing to the Home Media, the cost is per box. There is no charge for recording programs, just know that you can not record anything from "On-Demand". The only difference between hd dvr and home media dvr is that w/o home media you cannot watch recorded programming on the other stb's, otherwise the stb's are the same. Just one more thing to keep in mind, if you record something in HD and you get a standard stb you will not be able to watch the hd recording on the standard box...Show more
