Joie Kemmis: well luckily for you, babies don't need toys when they are that young. your face and voice will do just fine. if you want to buy your baby something visually stimulating, a mobile that lights up and plays music will work nicely.
Caleb Chapman: they will have on the toy for what ages or 6m+ mmm...My baby really started playing with toys around 3 months?Wrist rattles and really anything bright.my 6 month old has a fasination with bright colored cups right now. and loves her toys but of course loves random objects around the house even more...especially the remote to the TV....Show more
Kelly Bistodeau: don't give your baby stuffed toys unless you'll be there to supervise him the entire time he's playing with them. They are a suffocation hazard. Rattles are a good toy, provided that it says 0+ months on the packaging. Don't give your baby anything to play with that will fit through a toilet paper tube...that means that they can choke on it. Your ! baby won't actually play with anything until they are 3, 4, or even 5 months though, so every day items (remote control...but watch the battery door!...for example) are just fine. A mobile on the crib or changing table is fun for them to look at, but take it out once your baby can sit up....Show more
Joeann Hoyt: i always just look at the recommended age and the behaviors my dd is exhibiting at the time...for nb any 0+ toys should be fine; when my dd was six mos and putting everything in her mouth, i was more careful to look at the age range and also to see if there were eyes or a nose or anything on there that she could chew off and swallow...LOLnbs don't really interact much with their toys, and they like pics of faces; there are several things i have seen that are toys that you can put pics of family and such in for them to look at, one was a cube shape...she may enjoy looking at it for now, and as she gets older she will want to play with the cube....they also li! ke high contrast toys and pics with bold colors, black, white,! red....gl, hthas for suffocating with stuffed toys, you can find plenty of small stuffed toys with sewn eyes and noses, etc that can't be chewed off nor suffocated on....u just have to look around, babies r us is where we have found some.......Show more
