Jen Maday: Mosaic paintings is appealing and that is cool. Plus there are a ton of assorted issues you additionally could make into mosaics. the least perplexing thank you to start is to pass on your close by library and get a pair of books approximately it. Then pass from there! good success! Brenda
Inez Relihan: Yahoo Answers is one. Maybe become a potterhead for another.
Vern Serratos: If you like cars, plains or boats, I suggest getting into the Radio Control scene. It may be expensive at first buying your first RTR/RTF (Ready to Run/Fly) plane/boat/car, but after that, the parts are relatively cheap to replace, unless you somehow total the whole thing on your first attempt. =PThe neat thing about RC is that you can learn how the mechanics of something works, and actually see it work in action. At first it may seem like it would be impossible to work on one, but they are fairly simple to work on. It's just a few servos connected to a receiver with a batte! ry(ies) for power, and working on them (especially the Nitros) can give you a better idea at how the full-sized counterpart car/plane/boat works.Today, it's easier than ever to get started into the hobby, since there are numerous companies in business that offer RTR/RTF cars and planes that you can drive/fly right out of the box, with little or no assembly required. Like I said earlier, it's alittle pricey starting out, but with beginner-friendly RTF planes like the Horizon Champ starting at $89, you can't go wrong. Just be sure to practice on a Flight Sim at a hobby shop near you to get a feel of flying before trying anything in real life. They would be the best people to talk to about getting into the hobby. Word of warning: the Nitro cars/planes can get alittle pricey because they actually run on a nitro-type fuel, somewhat like real cars. While the nitro cars/buggys may be fine for beginners, the nitro planes are defiantly NOT for beginners.Hobby grade slot car racing i! s just like RC, only much much simpler. And it's just with car! s. They are VERY simple to work on/fix and are a blast to run around tracks. It's a perfect hobby for young kids to try if they are too young to start playing with RCs.If your more into action/sports, then Airsoft/paintball is for you. Same with RC and slot car racing, it may be expensive when you start out, but once you start, it's pretty cheap. The most expensive thing you would buy is your first gun and gear. Most beginner guns go for around $100-$250 new, and gear might run you another $25-$100 (depending on how much/little you want to use), but like everything else, Ebay and craigslist is your best friend for deals. The only downside to playing every week is that you have to constantly buy ammo, and it can get a little pricey. A bag of 10K Airsoft pellets could run anywhere from $10 to $25 depending on the quality of said ammo. If you have an itchy trigger finger, be prepared to spend alot of cash. That. and you could get seriously hurt if you don't know what you are d! oing. It's a fun, but dangerous, hobby. Not one for Sissys. =PIf none of those tickle your fancy... theres always playing video games as an option. =PGood luck on your new hobby(ies)...Show more
